Goals
- Strengthening human rights, justice, accountability, and advocacy for people from Kachin State.
- Monitoring and documenting all forms of human rights violations in Kachin State.
- Creating a society with freedom of movement within the state.
Objective
- To investigate Human Rights abuses and support victims.
- To be aware of Human Rights and resist the abuses peacefully in Kachin State.
KHRW History
Kachin Human Rights Watch (KHRW) is a nonprofit and non-governmental organization. It was established in 2021. Kachin Human Rights Watch’s mission is to collect and record public voices, to distribute news, to promote justice against human rights abuses, to protect and raise awareness of human rights, and to support the emergence of a justice society in accordance with International Human Rights Laws.
