Introduction
This report compiles the incidents of human rights violations that occurred throughout the year 2025 in across Kachin State. As military conflicts in the region have intensified, airstrikes, heavy artillery shelling, and drone attacks by the military council have caused immense loss of life and property to innocent civilians.
Throughout the year by KHRW, according to data collected, the statistics regarding human rights violations are as follows: 17 arrested, 133 killed, and 117 injured.
In 2025, the military council forces conducted mass bombing attacks on at least five separate occasions. These actions constitute a blatant violation of international human rights laws. This document presents detailed information regarding these incidents of civilian massacres. The military junta’s targeting of civilians, particularly women and children, constitutes a blatant violation of international human rights laws. This report presents significant details regarding these incidents and supporting evidence in categorized sections
