On November 15, 2024, around 4:00 PM, the military junta deliberately bombed the Kachin Baptist Church (KBC) in Konelaw Village using a military aircraft. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 10 civilians, including 7 children, and caused the destruction of the church.
