January to September Briefing: Human Rights Abuses
The summary report of human rights abuses in January to September 2024 included the deliberate arbitrary arrest of civilians, shooting at residential homes with arms group by the Military Coup. According to data collected by KHRW from January to September 2024, 97 people were killed, 137 were injured by the junta’s artillery strikes across the township, and 219 were arrested by the junta.
