On February 10, 2024, Military Coup Council enacted the conscription law. Then in March, the Kachin State Started going to homes in neighborhoods, cities and bringing to the house with a summonses and arresting individuals on the public street.
Individuals who are assisting in summoning people to their homes have unfortunately resulted in the deaths about 20 deaths of village chairmen and individuals serving under the military coup council. On March 26, Naw Mon City, Mohnyin Township Kachin State, one of the governor was killed.
It is difficult to identify which armed group killed those. Due to the conscription law passed by the military council, young people, in particular are insecure.
